On July 1, 1999 Guardair Corporation acquired the assets of Allpax Gasket Cutter Products of Mamaroneck, NY. Allpax has produced quality gasket cutters for over seventy-five years and will continue to do so as Allpax Gasket Cutter Systems under Guardair's roof in South Hadley, Massachusetts. In addition to the compass-style gasket cutter kits which cut up to 60 inch diameter gaskets, Allpax also offers hollow punch tools, packing hooks and a complete line of replacement parts. Additions to existing products are currently being reviewed based upon market feedback, with new product announcements anticipated.

        For over half a century, Guardair has manufactured safety air guns in South Hadley, and has sold millions into a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, with an overriding emphasis on operator protection, safety, and productivity. The company developed the world's first safety air gun, and during the 1970's worked closely with OSHA to write the original (and existing) specifications for air gun usage. All Guardair safety air guns meet OSHA standards. In addition to a complete line of air guns, Guardair also produces spray equipment, pneumatic vacuums, and accessories.

        Both Guardair and Allpax market their products through a world-wide network of over 2000 select industrial and specialty distributors that includes long-standing local and regional suppliers, as well as highly recognizable companies such as McMaster Carr, W.W. Grainger, MSC, J & L Industrial Supply, Production Tool, Lab Safety Supply, and Rutland Tool.
